What Is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
#GivingTuesday at Meae Wellness
The staff and volunteers of Meae Wellness work every day to improve the health and wellness of the communities it serves, especially the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.
We utilize our network of partners to provide services to our most underserved citizens and build up other programs and organizations that strive to be the change that is needed in our world.

It has been thirty years since the first cases of HIV gained the attention of the world; over that time more than 56,000 people in the United States alone have become infected with HIV each year and over 570,000 Americans have lost their lives to complications of AIDS. Currently, there are more than 1.1 million Americans living with HIV. Almost half of all Americans know someone living with HIV and those numbers are growing.
HIV is not going away and affects every member of the community. ImpactHIV, a program of Meae Wellness, is committed to providing not only economical care but also social change. New advancements are being seen every day, but more work is needed to be done to change the stigma associated with HIV that affects people directly affected by the virus. We believe knowledge is the best tool to achieve this goal and along with visible leadership, we can change the mindset of the community.

True You TN is a new nonprofit in Tennessee working to address the issues homeless LGBTQ+ youth face.
True You TN is in the process of building a network of resources and purchasing/building a home for LGBTQ+ youth in the Tennessee area to create a safe environment for LGBTQ+ youth to live authentically.
Headquartered in Murfreesboro TN; our most pressing need is to find a home to purchase, or to build a home. Tennessee, where we will provide services, is currently short roughly 4,000 beds in the foster care system.
True You TN is partnering with Meae Wellness to promote mental health and overall wellness throughout out state.
